Medication Synchronization (MedSync) aligns a patient’s chronic medications to a common fill date. Syncing refills with MedSync Advantage™ can:

Support coordination of a monthly appointment to consult on current medications, grow the pharmacist-patient relationship and address any MTM opportunities
Result in more on-time refills, which may lead to higher prescription revenue and improved performance related to Medicare Star measures

How does it work?

MedSync Workflow

1. Offer

Offer to align the patient’s refills on the same day each month.

2. Plan

Use MedSync Advantage to create the synchronization plan, including calculating any partial fills. Our tool can support 28-day intervals as well as 30/60/90-day fill schedules.

3. Sync

Share your plan with the patient and fill medications as needed to get to the synchronization date. Push to Queue transfers any refills or short fills needed to your dispensing software.
