Now Hiring: Director of Software Development

OutcomesMTM is currently interviewing for a Director of Software Development to lead, develop and manage all aspects of technology architecture to support business scalability. This role requires technical experience as well as advanced communication, organizational and leadership skills.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare and present executive summaries of the service performance
  • Lead, develop and manage all aspects of technology architecture to support business scalability
  • Define, manage and implement the support and release roadmap for all projects
  • Facilitate sprints and guide developers through the 5-week release cycle
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to prioritize and schedule release/support requests
  • Ensure that all application support teams align to company business functional units and develop shared APIs
  • Define/confirm key processes, organization structures, resource requirements, tool requirements, key performance metrics and management processes for each of the functional areas within this role's responsibility
  • Lead and drive solutions delivery activities as opportunities are identified
  • Operate with a commitment to embracing emerging trends, operations and technologies that are applicable to business services
  • Demonstrate leadership in the pursuit of excellence and continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Manage the performance of staff within department

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years managing the delivery of core business systems and services and supporting collaboration technologies
  • 8+ years of software development in object oriented languages
  • 5+ years of MS SQL Server or Oracle
  • College or university degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing across all levels in the organization
  • Ability to recognize new and emerging technologies that are applicable to company business initiatives and strategic plan
  • Experience with a broad range of core business technologies
  • Experience with hands-on development, cloud computing and enterprise system architectures
  • Experience with object -oriented technologies ColdFusion/.NET/JAVA
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise technology architecture
  • Experience with Agile methodology and a proven ability to collaborate on its implementation
  • Experience with client-side development like JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX

Now Hiring: Corporate Resources Associate

OutcomesMTM is currently interviewing for 1-2 Corporate Resources Associates to facilitate daily operations for 20-40 hours per week. We're looking for friendly, personable associates to serve as first point of contact for visitors to our West Des Moines office. As this role will help manage supplies, deliveries and multiple priorities, organization and problem solving are key qualities in candidates.

Essential Functions:

  • File and maintain company records
  • Greet persons entering office, determine nature and purpose of visit, notify employees affected and direct them to a specific destination
  • Maintain visitor log
  • Receive and sort incoming and outgoing mail, shipments and deliveries
  • Ensure common areas of office are equipped with required office supplies
  • Coordinate the maintenance and repair of office equipment
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Perform opening and closing duties
  • Assist with administrative and project management duties across all departments as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • At ease with technology and competent computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization, demonstrating professionalism and good judgment at all times
  • Must be able to manage competing demands and multiple priorities, while maintaining a high level of organization and strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter personality with enthusiastic, "can do" attitude in accepting work challenges
  • Must be reliable and accountable to direct supervisor for schedule coordination
